Large Format landscapes in and around Kampsville

The edge of Highway 100 looking East during early morning mist.
Semi submerged vintage truck during a flood
Located Northeast of Kampsville the “Eldred House” is one of the oldest structures in the area.
The middle of our “campus” and Tom Cook at flood stage.
Standing behind “The Old Folks Home” looking South.
Looking East towards the river. Eventually after too many repeated floods all of these buildings were purchased by the State and razed. This land will never be built on again.
A closer view of the now gone “Brinkmeyer House” and the Middle Woodland Villiage.
A view of the submerged free ferry landing. The building in the middle of the image is the old Ferry View Restaurant. The one on the left was also used as a “Lab”. Like much of the town both are gone now.
